Title: Duracels or Energizers? THAT IS THE QUESTION
Problems/Questions: Which battery lasts the
longest amount of times?
Which
battery lasts the shortest amount of time?
Which
battery is less expensive?
Which
battery is more expensive?
Materials: 2 types of name brand
batteries, 2 flashlights and an electric balance
Test Design:
1) Get two different name
brand batteries.
2) Compare and contrast the
different prices.
3) Get two flashlights.
4) Place each type of battery
in the flashlights. Make sure to
label each
flashlight the type of
battery.
5) Turn on the two
flashlights simultaneously if you can.
6) Record the date and time
when you turned on the flashlights.
7) Observe each flashlight
until they go out.
8) Record the date and time
when each flashlight goes out.
